Afghanistan: An earthquake of 5.0 magnitude on the Richter scale occurred in Afghanistan on Saturday morning, whose tremors were felt till Kashmir Valley. The earthquake was recorded at around 8:24 am. According to seismic data, its epicenter was near Zaibak area of ​​Badakhshan province. This earthquake occurred about 190 kilometers below the ground, due to which the intensity of the tremors on the surface was not much.

Experts say that the energy released by the earthquake was quite strong, but due to its great depth the damage was limited. Generally such deep earthquakes leave less impact on the ground, although they can be felt far and wide as light tremors.
